another catchup...

I'm really sorry, I don't know what's wrong with me at the moment! When I work in the day I just don't have the motivation to do anything productive. Working in a cafe where you are one of two english people, where no one else really speaks good enough english to get by is very frustrating.

This was just such a day.

As was this.

and this day i was just plain lazy.

But then i did something interesting! My friend James took me to a place called Groombridge Place which has birds and animals and all sorts of wonderful things! A bigger post about this will follow..

Today was an incredible day, a day of looking at the world from my windowsill.
There was the biggest storm I have seen for years, a bird was struck out of the sky just by the thought of it! the sky split in two and the road was lit up as if it were day. the sound of the rain falling through the leaves kept me on the wet windowsill until 3am.
What kept me there so long was how beautiful reflections are, you can just spend hours looking into them and you never get bored. reflections of fairy lights, reflections of stars, and of leaves.

And today, I made a lot of soldered glass pendants.
Would anyone like one? I might sell some.

I'm sorry for such an image heavy post, again.
A friend asked me why I blog, what's the point of it. and really, it's because I feel like the photos I take just rot in iphoto if i don't put them SOMEWHERE. and i'm really thankful to anyone who cares about them, or likes them! it really does mean a lot.
